NOTICE:

Beginning Dec. 1, 2010 all payments, fines & tickets will have to be paid at Van Buren District Court located at 1003 Broadway

 

 

To the right is our Information Desk.  The information desk is staffed by our Receptionist/Clerk/CID Secretary, Sandra Carney.  This is where you need to go when requesting copies of accident and police reports or to request officer assistance during regular business hours.  Below are the hours of operation and the fees assessed for accident and police reports.

 

     *  When paying for reports, you must present the exact amount.  We do not make change.

 

  ** Not all traffic violations are required to appear in court.  Read the back of your ticket for all necessary information regarding your given court date.

Allow clerks 5-10 business days to have your ticket entered into the system before calling to find out fine costs.

NOTE: WE STOP TAKING PAYMENTS 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO CLOSING.  NO PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL THE OPENING OF THE FOLLOWING BUSINESS DAY.

Accident Reports (occurring on a city street or roadway) $10.00    
Accident Reports (occurring on private property)  $2.00    
Police Incident Reports  $2.00    
We accept Check, Money Order or Cash.  Sorry, no Debit or Credit Cards
