Property & Evidence    

The Property & Evidence room is under the direct supervision of the Service Captain, and is maintained by Christy Davidson, Evidence Technician.

All Evidence and Property that comes into the Van Buren Police Department is sent to the Evidence Room.  All evidence submitted must remain sealed unless authorized. All handling of evidence and property is documented with a Chain Of Custody.  

The Property & Evidence Room accepts all evidence ranging from crime scene evidence, to witness statements to found property and safekeeping items.  Anyone attempting to locate lost property or questions about property seized is welcome to contact the Evidence Tech, Christy Davidson at 479-471-1975.

The Property and Evidence Room is open Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm and is closed for all federal holidays.
