Our 911 system for the city of Van Buren now has a new program called “Smart911”. This program is free and confidential and sends an additional screen of information on you and your family to our dispatchers when you call 911 in Van Buren, such as special needs children; allergies; house layouts; animals (you can add just about anything). This information is available ONLY to Dispatchers when you call 911.  This new screen of information can greatly aid in assisting you and your family in case of an emergency when communicating pertinent details can be easily forgotten.
